This is a project done entirely out of love, and without a strict commercial/financial goal. All my work is inspired by and based off of the broad lore of the universes within the game, Magic: The Gathering. I am a player and fan of the stories of this game and it’s associated lore, and this is a place where I have imagined more space for some of the untold stories that I imagine may yet exist.

In all the work presented here, please assume that the content is based on, and exists within the intellectual property of the company which owns Magic: the Gathering, Wizards of the Coast (owned by Hasbro). Fallen Empires Field Notes may refer to named characters, items, themes, places, and other intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast, and will also include new characters, places, items, and other concepts created and imagined by me. As such, Fallen Empires Field Notes are a fan fiction project, and will not exist in any way that conflicts with the owners of Magic: The Gathering (e.g. if they write me and ask me to remove something, I will immediately)

I do not work for the owners of Magic: The Gathering, and they do not review or approve what is on this site. I am just someone who has enjoyed the game and the stories of its universe since 1994, and after 30 years the stories in my imagination are starting to leak out…
